001 / INTEGRATION
Ingestics + Polylang
Automatically assign Polylang languages to imported posts.
What it does
Ingestics can automatically assign a Polylang language to each imported post. Each provider can be configured to import content in a specific language. This is essential for multilingual WordPress sites that use Polylang to manage translations.
How to configure
- Install and activate Polylang (free or Polylang Pro)
- Configure your languages in Languages → Languages
- Go to Ingestics → API Providers (or RSS Providers)
- Edit a provider or create a new one
- In the Polylang tab, select the target language for this provider
- Save the provider
All posts imported from this provider will be assigned to the selected language.

AI translation (Business)
On the Business edition, you can combine Polylang integration with AI translation. Ingestics fetches content from one language, translates it using DeepL, Google Cloud Translation, LibreTranslate, or Azure Translator, and creates posts in the target language with the correct Polylang assignment.
