Ingestics + OpenAI
AI rewrite, translation, and image generation with OpenAI GPT models.
What it does
Ingestics integrates with OpenAI to provide three AI capabilities for your imported content:
- AI Rewrite — Rewrite fetched content to make it unique while preserving meaning
- AI Translation — Translate imported content into multiple languages
- AI Image Generation — Generate featured images for posts that do not have one (Business only)
How to configure
- Get an OpenAI API key from
platform.openai.com - Go to Ingestics → Settings → AI
- Select OpenAI as the AI provider
- Enter your API key (encrypted with AES-256-CBC)
- Select the model: GPT-4, GPT-4o, or GPT-4o-mini
- Configure rewrite settings (tone, length, creativity)
- Configure translation settings (target language)
- Save settings
Enable AI rewrite or translation per provider in the provider’s settings.

Requirements
- OpenAI API key (pay-per-use, billed by OpenAI)
- Ingestics Pro or Business edition

OpenAI charges per token used. Costs depend on the model and content length. GPT-4o-mini is the most affordable option. Check openai.com/pricing for current rates. Ingestics does not add any markup — you pay OpenAI directly.
