AI Content Rewrite & Translation for WordPress – Ingestics
Eight AI Provider Integrations
Ingestics integrates with eight AI and machine translation providers, giving you flexibility in how imported content is transformed. Each provider can be configured independently with its own API key, model selection, and transformation settings.
| Provider | Type | Capabilities |
|---|---|---|
| OpenAI | LLM | Content rewriting, tone adjustment, summarisation, translation |
| Anthropic | LLM | Content rewriting, tone adjustment, summarisation, translation |
| Google Gemini | LLM | Content rewriting, tone adjustment, summarisation, translation |
| OpenRouter | LLM gateway | Access to multiple models through a single API key |
| DeepL | Translation | High-quality machine translation in 30+ languages |
| Google Translate | Translation | Machine translation across 100+ languages |
| LibreTranslate | Translation | Open-source self-hosted translation |
| Azure AI | LLM + Translation | Azure OpenAI Service for rewriting and translation |
Per-Provider Model Configuration
Each AI provider supports model selection. For OpenAI, choose between models like GPT-4, GPT-4 Turbo, or GPT-3.5 Turbo. For Anthropic, select Claude models. For OpenRouter, pick from any available model in their catalogue. This per-provider model setting lets you balance quality, speed, and cost for each transformation task.
Content Rewriting
Use AI to rewrite imported content before it is published. Adjust the tone to be formal, casual, or technical. Change the style to match your brand voice. Modify the length – expand brief summaries into full articles, or condense long-form content into concise posts. The rewrite happens automatically during the fetch cycle, so published content is already transformed.
Translation to 30+ Languages
Ingestics can translate imported content into more than 30 languages. Configure a target language per provider, and every post fetched by that provider is translated before publishing. This is especially powerful when combined with Polylang integration – translated posts are automatically assigned the correct language.
Per-Provider AI Settings
AI transformation settings are configured per provider, not globally. This means Provider A can rewrite content with OpenAI while Provider B translates with DeepL and Provider C skips AI entirely. The per-provider approach gives you granular control over which content gets transformed and how.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need my own API keys for AI providers?
Yes. Ingestics connects to AI providers using your own API keys. You bring keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepL, or any other supported provider. Keys are stored encrypted in the WordPress database using AES-256-CBC.
Can I use different AI providers for different sources?
Yes. AI settings are configured per provider. You can use OpenAI to rewrite content from one RSS feed, DeepL to translate content from another, and leave a third source untouched – all within the same installation.
Does AI transformation happen before or after publishing?
AI transformation happens during the fetch cycle, before the post is published. This means the content stored in WordPress is already the transformed version – no additional processing is needed on the front end.
