What it does
Ingestics connects to any REST API endpoint and fetches data on demand or on schedule. Configure the endpoint URL, HTTP method, authentication, headers, and pagination.
Seven authentication methods cover every common API: none (public APIs), API key (header/query/body), bearer token, basic auth, OAuth2 client credentials (server-to-server), OAuth2 authorization code (with refresh, Pro+), and AWS Signature V4 (Business).
Six response formats are parsed automatically: JSON (with JSON-path mapping), XML, RSS, CSV (including Google Sheets CSV URLs), HTML (DOM scraping), and plain text.
How it works
1. Add an API provider – enter endpoint URL, select auth method, enter credentials (encrypted at rest)
2. Configure mapping – map API response fields to WordPress post fields
3. Fetch – manual fetch or scheduled via WP-Cron
