OpenAI gpt-image-1 Integration
Featured images are generated using OpenAI’s gpt-image-1 model. The plugin sends a text prompt derived from the post title or a custom prompt configuration, and the model returns a high-quality image that is saved to the WordPress media library and set as the post’s featured image.
Prompt Configuration Per Provider
Each provider can have its own image generation prompt template. You can use dynamic variables like post title, post content, or provider name in the prompt. For example, a news provider might use Professional illustration about: {title} while a tech blog might use Minimalist tech-themed image representing: {title}.
Image Style Control
Control the visual style of generated images through prompt engineering and model parameters. Specify artistic direction, colour palette preferences, composition style, or level of detail. The style settings are applied consistently across all images generated for that provider.
Fallback When No Image in Source
Not all API responses or RSS feeds include images. The AI image generation feature acts as a fallback – when the source content has no image attached, Ingestics generates one. If the source does include an image, that image is used instead, and AI generation is skipped for that post.
