Key features

Chained API requests

Chain multiple API calls in sequence. The output of one request feeds into the next via variable substitution. For example: fetch a list of product IDs, then fetch detailed info for each ID, then fetch inventory for each product. This is useful for APIs that require multiple calls to gather complete data.

External API Actions

Instead of just fetching data, Business edition can send data to external APIs. Features include:

• Queued jobs with background processing
• Idempotency keys to prevent duplicate submissions
• Destination locks to prevent race conditions
• Exponential backoff retries with configurable settings
• Dead-letter retention for failed jobs
• Queue metrics for monitoring

Triggers include opt-in form submissions and WooCommerce outbound events.

WooCommerce Product Connector

Create WooCommerce products directly from API data:

• SKU matching — Match products by SKU to update existing ones
• Price mapping — Map API price field to product price
• Stock management — Update stock quantities from API
• Terms and categories — Assign product categories and tags
• External product URL — Set external product links
• Gallery images — Map up to 10 product images

AI image generation

Automatically generate featured images for imported posts:

• OpenAI gpt-image-1 — Generate custom images from post title or content
• OpenAI gpt-image-1-mini — Faster, lighter image generation
• Pexels — Attach relevant stock photos as fallback

AI image generation can be configured per provider. Posts without a source image will automatically get an AI-generated one.

Translation services

Business edition adds 4 additional translation providers:

• DeepL — High-quality machine translation for 30+ languages
• Google Cloud Translation — Google’s translation API
• LibreTranslate — Self-hosted, open-source translation
• Azure Translator — Microsoft Azure translation service

Each provider can be configured per RSS/API provider for different target languages.

Ticker layout

The Gutenberg block gains a ticker layout: a scrolling display of imported posts. Available on Business edition alongside grid and carousel.

Audit exports

Export audit logs of all Ingestics activity: fetches, publications, errors, and configuration changes. Useful for compliance and troubleshooting.

Independent schedules

API and RSS fetches run on completely independent schedules. API fetches do not block RSS fetches, and vice versa. This improves throughput when you have many providers with different update frequencies.

Business edition includes unlimited site licenses. Use Ingestics on as many sites as you need.
